Our friends, emigrants from Novosibirsk, were at some holiday visiting their American friends. Everything was great, everyone was having fun, everyone was drinking, in general, they had a great time. Toward the end of the evening, our friend and his wife approached the hero of the occasion, thanked for everything and said that it was time for them to go home.

The American, with his eyes slowly rolling out, said: “How are you going to go home?!” Both you and your wife drank!”

Our assured the American that everything was OK, he hadn’t drunk so much, and everything had practically disappeared, and they would quietly reach us. And calmly left.

But soon a police car starts chasing them, flashing lights, a bullhorn - everything is like in the movies. He gets out of the car with a silent question: “What happened, I didn’t break anything?!”...

It turned out that it was his American friend who personally called the police and said that a person in a state of intoxication was at the wheel of such a vehicle and was supposedly moving along such a route.

How would you react if your friend did this ?! Yes, for a Russian, this is a betrayal, at least.

But when our Russian friend asked the American why he did this, the answer was simply stunning: “Yes, I was worried about you! It was important to me that you get home safe and sound! I care about you!

That is, for Americans, it turns out to be a concern.
