Florida resident gave neighbors strange Easter sets: she was arrested

This was probably not the help package most people hoped for during the coronavirus outbreak, reports Fox News.

Florida residents said they found plastic eggs in their mailboxes, in which they found a rather strange set. They allegedly found few products, a small amount of toilet paper and pornography.

These eggs were found in some homes near Palm Coast, Florida, for several days, according to The Daytona Beach News Journal. Later it became known that the eggs contained a cracker, a powdered drink, a piece of toilet paper and a crumpled leaf with a pornographic image on it.

The first two cases occurred on April 5 and 6.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff, residents said a woman was spotted laying eggs in mailboxes on April 8 in the evening. Authorities reacted to this, and after the suspect was discovered, 42-year-old Abril Cestoni was taken into custody.

In a statement on the sheriff’s department’s Facebook page, authorities said: Cestoni admitted that she laid eggs in mailboxes. She told the officers that in this way she "enlightens people."

“Our team did a great job of tracking down this deranged criminal and bringing her into custody,” Sheriff Rick Staley said in a statement. “Fortunately, she does not appear to have COVID-19, but she definitely needs help.” “This once again proves that ‘see something and report it’ works, and we thank the public for being part of our philosophy.”

According to the sheriff’s department, Cestoni was charged with distributing obscene materials 11 times, although she claimed to have distributed 400 images. She was also charged with driving with a suspended license.
