US authorities officially banned immigration to the communists
The US Immigration Service has issued a policy guide against immigration to the United States based on membership in a totalitarian party. This is reported on the official website USCIS.
On October 2, USCIS published a guide on the inadmissibility of immigration to the United States based on membership or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party.
As the US Immigration Service notes, membership or affiliation with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party is incompatible with the Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America during the US naturalization procedure, which includes a commitment to "uphold and protect the Constitution and laws of the United States."

In general, unless otherwise provided by an exception, any purported immigrant who is a member or affiliate of the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party (or subdivision), domestic or foreign, is not admitted to the United States.
As stated on the USCIS website, this supplement to the policy guide will assist staff in making a decision on this inadmissibility ground under federal law.
More details can be found in the manual itself at this link (English language).
