A taste of nostalgia: McDonald's launches Happy Meal for adults
You'll never be too old for a Happy Meal, at least that's what McDonald's is betting on and launching a new Happy Meal series specifically for adults. Writes about it CNBC.

The fast food chain this week announced plans to introduce adult-oriented meals, complete with a free toy, as part of an initiative designed to shake off nostalgia for the restaurant's famous red cardboard boxes.
The Cactus Plant Flea Market Box is the result of a collaboration between McDonald's and the renowned streetwear brand, and will be available at participating restaurants starting October 3rd.
Unlike the smaller menu items included in the classic Happy Meal, the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box will feature either a Big Mac or 10 chicken nuggets, plus soda and fries.
Inside the box will also be "one of four collectible figurines" of McDonald's Grimace, Hamburglar and Birdie mascots, as well as Cactus Buddy.
"We're taking one of McDonald's most nostalgic products and literally repackaging it in a new way," McDonald's marketing director Tariq Hassan said.
This is far from the first attempt by McDonald's to partner with brands.
The network made a splash last April when it teamed up with K-pop superstars BTS as part of their Famous Orders campaign.

In 2020, the company released a combo inspired by rapper Travis Scott's favorite order, and it was so popular that some restaurants ran out of Quarter Pounder burgers.
In addition to the Happy Meal, McDonald's and Cactus Plant Flea Market will release limited-edition clothing and merchandise.
Happy Meal fans who are not hungry but are interested in buying clothes will be able to access collaboration site September 3 at 11:00.
