Harvey Weinstein hired an "army of spies," including former Mossad agents, to monitor women and not write complaints about his sexual misconduct.

Among private security agencies hired by Weinstein since the fall of 2016, there have been Black Cubewhich is mainly managed by former Israeli intelligence officers, including the Mossad. Another giant corporate intelligence was Kroll.

A report released on November 6 states that two agents Black Cube met with actress Rose McGowan to get information. She later publicly accused Weinstein of rape.

A spokesman for the producer says that Weinstein "unequivocally denies" all the claims regarding non-consensual sex.

Edition The New Yorker claims that one of the spies secretly recorded at least 4 meetings with McGowan, pretending to be an advocate for women's rights, citing dozens of pages of documents and 7 people directly involved in Weinstein's efforts.

The spy also reportedly used another fake identity to meet with a journalist from the magazine. The New Yorkerwho investigated the allegations against Weinstein.

According to the magazine, Weinstein and private detectives also used journalists to get information about women who made claims to the producer.

In early October, Weinstein was fired from a company founded by him and his brother after a series of Hollywood stars accused him of sexual harassment. Among them are actresses Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rose McGowan.

Police in London, Los Angeles and New York launched an investigation into Weinstein, who is accused of sexually assaulting and harassing more than 90 women.
