In Hungary, for helping migrants start planting
The Hungarian Parliament approved a package of amendments directed against the Soros Foundation and NGOs dealing with migrants, writes Rtvi with reference to Reuters.
The bill equates the organization of illegal immigration to a criminal offense, according to an explanatory note to a document signed by the head of the Hungarian Ministry of the Interior, Sandor Pinter. “We want to use the amendments to prevent Hungary from becoming a country of migrants,” wrote Pinter.
The bill also prohibits migrants who come to Hungary from third countries, where they are not persecuted, to seek asylum. Thus, the official Budapest actually refused at the legal level to accept refugees who are now, for example, in Greece and Italy. In 10 million Hungary there are a little more than 3,5 thousands of migrants.
The document is named for the Hungarian-born American billionaire George Soros. The Hungarian government accuses him of conspiring to send millions of migrants to the country.
July 5 should be a meeting between the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, from which coalition partners also demand to refuse to accept migrants who have registered in other EU countries. The author of this initiative is the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the leader of the CSU and former Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer.
Recall that a migration scandal is breaking out in the United States because of the new rules, according to which border violators are charged and their children are sent to special detention centers. The new migration policy is called the “zero tolerance” policy.
Democrats are actively drawing attention to this problem, demanding that the administration take action that will allow families not to be separated. More Republicans are joining these calls.
