Jailers in Oklahoma accused of torturing prisoners over a nursery rhyme
Two former Oklahoma jailers accused of mistreating prisoners who were punished in an unusual way by the guards ㅡ made me stand listening to the song Baby Shark for more than two hours. Writes about it Hromadske.

This method of punishment was invented by 21-year-old Christian Miles and Gregory Butler. It was a "joke" for observers. They stated that in this way they wanted to discipline the prisoners, but for what they were punished ㅡ unknown

Oklahoma District Attorney David Prater said he would like to charge the guards with a felony for "song torture," but there was no law to do so.

Baby shark ㅡ this is a children's song about a shark family. She became popular when the Korean project Pinkfong shot a video for her. The video went viral ㅡ it has been watched almost 7 billion times on YouTube. In the fall of 2018, the single was at number one on the Kid Digital Song Sales chart for 11 weeks.
Baby Shark was first a campfire song. According to one version, it arose from myths, according to another - at the beginning of the twentieth century. Others believe that the song was invented by summer camp counselors who were inspired by the cult film Jaws.
Pinkfong's Baby Shark music video went viral in Indonesia in 2017 and gained popularity in other Asian countries during the year, especially in the southeast.
