In Texas, a mother put her two-year-old child to bed during the day - and he disappeared
Police said the 2-year-old boy was found in a car in Texas after an “extensive” search. The boy was dead.
“We are all heartbroken,” Denton Police Chief Frank Dixon said at a news conference. “The family is just devastated. The mother is now under the supervision of doctors. She had a panic attack when she was told the news,” he added.
Two-year-old Sarbesh Gurung disappeared on Tuesday afternoon after his mother put him to bed.
On Tuesday, they conducted an extensive search, in which more than 200 people took part, including police and community officers, the head said.

The car with Sarbesh inside found in the search area. She was “close enough” from the family home, and it is unclear how Sarbesh got into the car.
In the car there were darkened windows and it was hard enough to see who was inside. At the time of this writing, it is not known whether a search of transport was conducted.
“This is not the time to point fingers, this is not the time to shift blame,” the chief said. “It is time for us to come together, grieve and heal together.”

According to Dixon, there were no obvious signs of injury. The body of the little boy is delivered to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
“There are a lot of things we don’t have answers to,” he said.
The officer added that because of the heat in Texas, he could very quickly overheat in the car.
The department is investigating.
