As Terry Scott Crecel said, at that moment he was standing with his daughter in a queue for an attraction, when he heard people screaming.
“We stood in line for over an hour and were almost there when the carousel stopped. People who stood nearby just watched, took photos and videos and wondered what happened,” recalls an eyewitness.
Cameron Mac Entyre of Saginaw, Texas, said he "heard people panic." He filmed this moment on video and posted a video in Twitter. The video has gathered over 3700 views.
“I haven't seen this happen before. I thought they were serious about checking carousels, but I was wrong,” the man said.

Communications Director Six Flags Fiesta Texas Cindy Purvis has confirmed that a security sensor failure has occurred - an electronic device that stops the carousel movement if it detects a threat, in the form of a strong wind or storm.
She did not specify what exactly caused the failure of the sensor.
It took 45 minutes for park staff to return the carousel to a safe place. No injuries were reported.
According to Purvis, such incidents rarely happen. The park representatives conducted several safety checks before re-launching the ride.
