US recalls 25 vegetable mixes due to listeria infection
Listeria monocytogenes may have contaminated 25 different ready-to-eat vegetable mixes, leading to a recall affecting consumers in various states. Listeria is often the cause of these reviews. The edition told in more detail BGR.
GHGA sold these products through Kroger stores in Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia. These products have already expired, so they are no longer in stores. But clients, at the theoretical risk of contracting Listeria, could still have some of them in their homes.

The GHGA explained that on September 16, the lab received a positive Listeria test result for one sample of the product. This was the reason for the recall.

The list below covers all 25 products recalled by GHGA:
All products in this recall have expired. But Kroger has been selling them since 11/XNUMX, so shoppers might have something at home in their fridge or freezer.
The GHGA says it has not received any reports of illness related to the recall. But sometimes symptoms can appear several weeks after eating contaminated foods. There is also a possible theoretical risk of infection for those who have left the products from the recall at home.
Listeria
Those who eat foods containing this bacterium are at risk of developing listeriosis. Healthy people usually experience short-term symptoms, including high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

What do we have to do
GHGA encourages customers to return items for a refund to where they purchased them. Alternatively, recalled vegetables can simply be discarded.
