In Paris, published data on US economic espionage against France
The Paris newspaper Liberation and the website Mediapart published 29 June, together with the organization Wikileaks, extensive materials testifying to the large-scale espionage in the economic sphere, which the USA carried out in respect of France.
Last week, Julian Assange, in an interview with French television, said that the site he had created will soon begin a series of major exposing publications.
“Five analytical reports from the US National Security Agency (NSA) clearly demonstrate the scale of operations carried out by US intelligence agencies against French interests. This data indicates that between 2004 and 2012, intelligence activities were carried out against French politicians and diplomats,” the publication says.
The Liberation newspaper emphasizes that “this offensive strategy follows from the priority US economic goals that are defined in this secret document.”
