In New York, two buildings were evacuated due to the collapse of the wall and saved 40 people
In the Bronx, due to the collapse of the partition, two buildings had to be evacuated and a 40 person temporarily relocated, reports NBC News with reference to officials.

Part of the partition size 60 x 30 feet (18,2 x 9,14 meters) collapsed behind a five-story building on Bailey Avenue in Jerome Park, just a block from Major Deegan Expresswayaccording to NYPD.
During the fall, the partition broke the windows of the basement apartment.
Dejanelin Galves, who lives in the building, shot a video of the collapsed wall behind the building.
“This is outrageous,” she said. “I knew this would happen.”
Police said no one was injured as a result of the collapse. There were no reports of missing either. To search under the rubble were special cameras and dogs.
“We conducted a thorough primary and secondary search and knocked on every door in the buildings to confirm that no one was missing,” said FDNY Deputy Assistant Michael Gala. “The cause of the wall’s collapse is still under investigation.”
Forty people were displaced by the collapse of the wall, a Red Cross spokesman told the NBC in New York. He said that the Red Cross is helping those who suffered.
Residents who live on the first floor of the building said they were told that today they will not be able to return home.
Police added that the two fire exits of the building became unsuitable after the collapse.
