In Michigan, a teenager decided to fight pits on his own

A teenager from Michigan was bored with pits on the roads, so he decided to deal with this problem himself.

The 12-year-old Monty does not yet have a driver's license, however, he understands how much damage may be caused to the pits by a passing car.

“I wouldn’t want people to damage their cars the way my mom did,” Monty says. “If someone drives into a pothole and has to pay $600 to $700 for repairs, that person would be very upset.”

So that no one gets upset, the teenager falls asleep the pits, using the earth and small stones from his yard.

The boy’s efforts were noticed after he was filmed on the FB Live video, which soon became viral.

“He didn’t ask anyone to do this. He took all the initiative into his own hands. This is how I have it. When he sees a problem in front of him and believes that he can solve it himself, he takes it and does it,” says his mother, Trinell Scott.

The teenager had already filled 15 pits on his street.

“I continue to do this for the benefit of my community,” Monty says.
