Margaret Gizzinger's 52-year-old was arrested after police responded to reports that a teacher with scissors endangered students at the University Preparatory High School in Visalia.
The video posted on the Internet shows a woman who told the student to sit in a chair, with her back to the blackboard. Then she loudly shouted the wrong words of the national anthem and cut off the hair scraps to the child, throwing them through herself.
After the student stood up, Margaret shouted: "We continue, I have not finished." She then went into the depths of the classroom with scissors in her hands to select the next student. ”
In the video, one girl’s scream is heard: “Do not touch me!”. It seems that Gizzinger grabbed her hair and picked it up, holding a pair of scissors. The girl ran away, and the teacher continued to walk around the class and sing the anthem angrily.
One student took a video of what happened.
According to the school’s website, Gizzinger teaches science. The administration said that "all students are safe."
One of the managers couldn't believe it was her. “She is a pleasant and helpful lady. She usually smiles and laughs,” he said. “This is not the Miss Gizzinger we know and love.”
According to the data of the Teacher Accounting Committee, Gizzinger has previously been suspended from teaching for 14 days in 2007 and in 2016. The reason is unclear.
Online records from the Tulare County Sheriff's office show that Margaret was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of threatening child abuse. She was given a deposit of 100 000 dollars.
Recall that earlier the teacher fired after she called Santa Claus a myth, and told younger schoolchildren who put gifts under the tree.
