In the Grand Canyon, a woman died after falling from a cliff
70-year-old woman died after falling off a cliff in the Grand Canyon.
Rangers of the park 23 April discovered the visitor's body near the southern edge of the canyon, writes Fox News.
“The victim’s name is being withheld until next of kin are notified and no further information is available at this time. Park staff encourage all guests to visit safely and are asked to remain on designated trails and walkways, maintaining a safe distance from edges and staying behind railings and barriers,” said park spokesman John Quinley.
