The five-bedroom, 2,5-bathroom home in Maple Glen, just north of the city, quickly gained attention after it went on the market Thursday — all because of the fully furnished rec room inside in the basement. , writes Fox News.

The colonial brick mansion is described on real estate sites as "one of a kind country house." Its price is $ 750 000.

Realtor Melissa Leonard dubbed this house "50 shades of Maple-Glen," and since then has heard this expression from irritated neighbors and various media that have asked a woman to talk with them about the house and the secret room.

“I saw the first two films and maybe read a couple of chapters of the book. But this was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw all this: yes, there are real “Fifty Shades of Gray” in the basement! - Leonard said. “But it doesn’t bother me—I know there are clubs in Philadelphia for this kind of thing, and for many it’s a way of life.”

During a recent media interview, Leonard had a fight with a neighbor, and some real estate websites removed the piquantly furnished basement from the list of house characteristics.

The basement is listed as the fifth bedroom, which "can be transformed back into a typical suburban basement".
“The owner now rents it out on Airbnb for $750 a night during the week and $2000 on the weekends,” Leonard said. — He just started and made $5000 in the first month. He receives constant orders, the basement was even rented for filming a rap video.”
