She stole Pelosi's laptop and tried to sell it to Russia: a Trump supporter was arrested in the USA

Riley June Williams, a 22-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was arrested by police on Monday, January 18, in her hometown. The girl who participated in the storming of the Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump on January 6 is suspected of stealing a computer from the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, writes Air force.

So far, she has been charged with illegal entry into the building and violation of public order.

Two days ago, Drew Hammill, deputy chief of staff for the House of Representative of the House of Representatives, tweeted that a laptop used exclusively for presentations was missing from his boss' office following the attack on the Capitol.

An FBI officer testified in court under oath that her ex-boyfriend had taken the intelligence service to Williams. He claimed that his former girlfriend went to Washington with the intention of stealing Nancy Pelosi's computer and selling it to a certain Russian acquaintance associated with the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.

According to the informant, the deal failed for unknown reasons, and Williams either destroyed the computer or continues to keep it.

The agent testified that the FBI is verifying this statement. The location of the laptop (according to other sources, the hard drive) is not reported.

Riley June Williams' case is one of more than 200 opened after protesters breached the Capitol on the day the Senate and House of Representatives met in a joint session to formally certify the results of the Nov. 6 presidential election, won by Democrat Joe Biden.

On the frames of the TV channel IT-vifilmed inside the Capitol on January 6, a woman who looks like Riley Williams is seen calling people to follow her up the stairs. Nancy Pelosi's office is located on the second floor.

The station interviewed Riley Williams' mother at her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She confirmed that the footage was indeed her daughter, and that Riley left that day without telling where she was going.
