Twitter sells equipment from the office in San Francisco: you can buy equipment and a lot of interesting things

Twitter is auctioning off espresso machines, kegerators, computers and even huge neon displays with the company's logo as the messaging service can't keep up with its office rent, reports CNBC.

Interested buyers can check out the range of items Twitter wants to sell on website Heritage Global Partners. This site is running an auction.

Among the many kitchen utensils that Twitter sells are a grill, several refrigerators and pizza ovens. Some office equipment includes numerous televisions, desks and conference equipment.

The company even sells a neon electric sign that clearly shows the company's corporate bird logo. As of noon on January 16, someone had bid $17 for a neon sign.

The equipment comes from the company's San Francisco office and appears to be another sign that new owner Elon Musk is looking to cut costs amid multiple financial woes. Several companies have suspended their Twitter ad campaigns.

Several civil rights groups have called on companies to stop ads on Twitter over allegations that the company cannot prevent the spread of hate speech and other offensive content on its platform.

Musk himself mentioned the difficult financial situation of the company. Although at the end of December, he reportedly said that the company was no longer on the path to bankruptcy. In December, The New York Times reported that Twitter had stopped paying rent for all of the company's office space.
