Obama's tweet about tolerance has become the most popular in history
Former President Barack Obama still knows how to find the right words after a national tragedy.
His Saturday tweet received over 3 million likes and more than a million posts. In it, the ex-president quoted Nelson Mandela in connection with the demonstration of white nationalists and the death of one person in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In contrast, President Trump's tweet in response to the tragedy in Charlottesville received some 190 000 likes.
We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!

Of course, not everyone agreed with Obama. Some users have urged the former president to condemn the violence "on both sides."
I call on them. Violence is unnecessary from either side.

Recall 12 August the car hit a crowd of demonstrators in Charlottesville, Virginia, during a march of far-right activists. As a result, the 32-year-old woman was killed and another 19 man was injured.
