And that in the Rada of the existing composition he would not be able to find the required number of supporters and would inevitably be bogged down in coalitions and squabbles, calculations and bargaining, in general, in the current Ukrainian political massacre. This was what his opponents hoped for, hoping to reduce the presidential post to purely representative functions by the end of October. But miscalculated, as Poroshenko miscalculated earlier. Masters of politic intrigues, grazing on the Ukrainian party grass, unexpectedly ran into a grandmaster of politics, who simply pulled the field from under their feet.

There are excellent chances for some new parties that are ready to become allies of the Zelensky Party - the current political system has completely exhausted the credibility of the people. After that, the winner’s hands will be untied, and he will be able to embark on long-awaited reforms. They were not on the shoulder of the pathetic, sorry, greedy Poroshenko, who prayed not to Ukraine, but to Mamon, and eventually stole from Nenka for five whole years, driving her to Putin’s impasse.

Zelensky's success is grandiose and revolutionary. So no one has conducted elections yet, it has never even occurred to anyone that this is possible, and no matter how inexperienced the public and hardened political actors laughed at first, Operation President was held in a brilliant lightning-fast style. The operation “Parliament” begins just as swiftly, and after it comes the turn of the operation “Government”. The world has not seen such a striking political phenomenon as Zelensky!

But not everyone is happy. Even now, during the triumph, the choir of detractors does not cease. They hit on their avatars on Facebook ribbons with the inscription 25% (voted for Poroshenko so much), but are there really so many of them?

If you do not count those who are willing to endure everything, if only there is no worse, and also sancta simplicitas, holy simplicity, which is always for power, then for him those who are good in the crony and corrupt mode. These are corrupt courts and prosecutors, tax authorities and customs, many businesses that are somehow affiliated with the godfather PAP or who have divided spheres of influence with him, even criminal ones. These are BPP deputies from other parties and blocs in the Verkhovna Rada, these are officials, starting with governors, that is, chairmen of regional and city councils, etc., right down to bots from Poroshenkovskaya botofarm operating on Facebook and other social networks.

And, of course, their families and servants, including ideological servants: editors, journalists, writers, political scientists, etc., etc. For them, Ukraine is just a cash cow, and no embroidered shirts, no laws on language and other super-duper Patriotism cannot hide this pragmatism. They do not want to part with their piece of bread and caviar; they will use all means to put a spoke in the wheels of the new government, slow down and sabotage the reforms. And, of course, to throw dirt. If the enemy could not be stopped, he can be denigrated. And Zelensky is now their worst enemy, threatening to drag them away from their satisfying trough.

But not by bread alone. He is especially guilty for showing their stupidity - them, who consider themselves the elite of the nation and even proud of their chosen minority! Not only did Zelensky unmask their essence, and it turned out to be ugly: these people, proud of their taste and not accepting the balagan actor in the highest state post, are mostly not very decent, not overly cultural, and even bazaar. The very style of their obscene comments, base mockery, flat mockery and rude insults betrays them headlong. They are not elite. Normal courtyard.

But Zelensky showed that they are also trivially stupid.

Because, first, an intelligent person would be able to assess the situation in a country, its position in the world, the state and mood of the masses, draw the right conclusions from this and roughly predict the development of events. They did not succeed. Being superficial people, they were carried away by mocking the actor who dared to claim the presidency.

Secondly, seeing in the course of the election campaign that their analysis was lame (and it was difficult not to see) that they were wrong in their estimates and forecasts, it was possible to correct their behavior. No, no, no one demanded from henchmen, pardon, Poroshenko's followers to change their shoes in the air, pardon, a cardinal paradigm shift, but at least out of caution they could temper the ardor and slow down their tone, enter into the framework of a civilized discussion, in which they treat the opponent with respect . Failed.

Third, after Zelensky’s victory in the second round, even the most stupid, sorry, short-sighted could have figured out that, after the victory, there would be inauguration, a change of power and, most likely, a change of courtesy, sorry, serving the "elite" so shamefully proven. And it's time to throw a handkerchief on a black rotok. No, not realized. On the contrary, they became even more furious, and it came to the point that in cartoons of the president-elect there were direct parallels with Hitler! By the way (or rather, quite inappropriate), this famous cartoonist illustrated my blogs in the Ukrainian Reporter and now, for ethical and aesthetic reasons, I have to distance myself a little from him ...

Fourthly, 20 was already in May, when the inauguration was held, when it became clear that the Verkhovna Rada, just yesterday, so honorable, would meekly obey the decree on its dissolution, when the Prime Minister resigned, which means the resignation of the entire government when it became finally clear that they were mistaken, they put it on the wrong horse - they continued to erupt. But the unforgettable director of the assay tent knowingly warned: if you have a cesspool, shut it up, let it rest and the cesspool ...

Detractors kassandrstvu, they predict all kinds of failures Zelensky and misfortunes Ukraine. But here there is a certain dichotomous dissonance. Guys, if you were so thoroughly mistaken in the forecasts earlier, showing your complete inability to see, hear and think, then why should we believe the new predictions of fools?
