Trump ordered the destruction of Iranian boats obstructing US ships
US President Donald Trump ordered the U.S. Navy to destroy Iranian boats if they obstruct American ships, writes "New Newspaper".
The politician wrote about this on his twitter.
The American leader made similar statements shortly after the US military spoke of the dangerous maneuvers of Iranian ships in the Persian Gulf. They claimed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps military boats came too close to US warships.
The US military called the Iranian military "dangerous and provocative."
At the same time, US-owned vessels were in international waters, where they performed training maneuvers with army helicopters.
Earlier, according to Reuters, the US military said that on April 15, 11 warships of Iran approached a close distance to the ships of the US Navy in the Persian Gulf, calling these actions "provocative."

Off the coast of Iran, in the area of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, incidents regularly occur with the participation of the American and Iranian military. In July 2017, the U.S. military patrol ship Thunderbolt fired warning shots from a machine gun towards an Iranian ship, which approached a distance of about 150 m. In Tehran, the actions of American sailors were called a provocation, writes RBC.
In June 2019, Iran reported that it had shot down an American reconnaissance drone. According to Tehran, it invaded the country's airspace. The United States responded by saying that the drone was shot down in international airspace. In response to the destruction of the drone, Trump first ordered a missile strike against Iran, but at the last moment he stopped its execution.
As the head of state explained, killing people would be a disproportionate response to a downed drone. In July, the United States, in turn, destroyed the Iranian drone in the Strait of Hormuz, which, according to Washington, threatened the USS Boxer.
The greatest exacerbation between Iran and the United States in recent years occurred this winter, after the strike of American drones in Iraq, which killed the head of the Iranian elite Al-Quds Kassem Suleimani. In response, Iran launched a missile strike on US military bases in Iraq.
