Trump supported the actions of Israel in the Middle East
US President Donald Trump fully supported Israel in its actions in the Middle East, stating that the Jewish state is forced to act "aggressively" to repel external threats.

The American leader told this to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on September 26 at a meeting held during the 73 session of the UN General Assembly in New York, writes Radio Liberty.

In turn, Netanyahu said that Israel was able to receive from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, guarantees of freedom of action for Israelis in Syria, the Times of Israel reported. These statements sounded against crisis of relations between Israel and Russia, which decided to provide the troops of the Syrian leader Bashar Assad anti-aircraft systems C-300 after the death of its reconnaissance aircraft IL-20.

Donald Trump also told reporters that he was looking forward to a new meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but did not specify the date of the meeting. The President of the United States declined to answer the question of how he relates to supplies from Russia to Syria anti-aircraft complexes C-300.

As follows from the statements of Moscow, these air defense tools are aimed primarily at Israeli aircraft, which regularly conducts attacks against Iranian facilities in Syrian territory. According to the Israeli newspaper, the American leader only stated that he would discuss this problem with Putin if necessary.
