Now you can pay with a card for filing an application with USCIS: which offices accept credit cards
As part of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) pilot, credit card payments can now be made at service centers. This is stated in a press release from the department.
The Vermont service center will now accept credit card payments using Form G-1450 Credit Card Transaction Authorization from petitioners filing Form I-129 Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.
Form G-1450 is used to pay the fees for an application filed with USCIS. You can pay with a US bank issued credit card at no additional cost. The agency does not accept credit cards issued by a foreign bank. Not all service centers can process credit card payments.
At the end of the pilot, USCIS will evaluate the results and determine next steps to expand this payment option to other forms or other service centers. The goal of this pilot is to bring USCIS one step closer to accepting digital credit card payments at all service centers.
The program began at a Nebraska service center and then expanded to a Texas service center.
