The United States imposed sanctions against Alina Kabaeva: it is assumed that she has an affair and even common children with Putin

The US expanded sanctions against Russia to include 13 individuals and more than 30 organizations. In particular, the gymnast and the alleged mistress of Russian President Vladimir Putin Alina Kabaeva fell under the sanctions, reports Forbes.

Who is Kabaeva

39-year-old Alina Kabaeva is one of the most titled gymnasts in the history of rhythmic gymnastics, the owner of 2 Olympic medals, 14 World Championships and 21 European Championships medals. TSN.

In October 2004, Alina Kabaeva announced the end of her sports career, and eight months later, her coach Irina Viner announced the return of the athlete and performance at a friendly competition between Italy and Russia in Genoa on September 10, 2005. Then there were many more different competitions, and Alina performed until 2007.

But even then Alina was familiar with Vladimir Putin and, they say, had a romantic relationship with him.

Relations with Putin

They say that Putin and Kabaeva met in 2001, when coach Irina Viner decided to celebrate the successful performance of the Russian team at the World Championships in Spain, where her athletes won all the gold medals. Vladimir Putin also came to the reception. Alina could not perform in front of him with a program, as other athletes did, as she was injured at the competition. Secret romance

The couple first started talking about their romance around 2006. In 2016, Kabaeva appeared at a figure skating competition in Moscow with two boys, aged between 8 and 10, and a wedding ring that women usually wear to show their status.

At the same time, rumors began to spread that the ex-gymnast had been married to Putin for a long time and bore him sons, and then a daughter (or daughters).

It is said that Putin hides his beloved with his children in Switzerland. Kabaeva lives in a private chalet on the shores of Lake Lugano, which is under significant protection. In this secluded place in Switzerland, there are 4-story penthouses that only the very wealthy can afford to buy.

Switzerland's decision not to remain neutral and to take a tough stance against Russia shocked many in the international community. On February 28, Switzerland said it had frozen the assets of a list of Russian individuals and companies, noting that "financial sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov should also be put into effect with immediate effect."

And the inhabitants of the country are collecting signatures for a petition and demanding to deport Kabaeva to Russia. Also on May 13, Kabaeva was included in the UK sanctions list, reports Slow.
