The United States breaks anti-records for the number of infected with COVID-19: where are the hottest spots

The past week (October 19-25) set a new record for the average daily number of new infections with COVID-19 in the United States for the entire pandemic. This is stated in the video "Voices of America".

The country recorded an average of 69 cases per day, the previous weekly record was in July. Back then, an average of just over 000 cases were diagnosed every day.

Record numbers were recorded last Friday and Saturday, October 23-24, with more than 83 infected.

Medical experts say the US is on the cusp of the autumn peak of infection, which they warned about earlier.

Chief of Staff of the President Mark Meadows said yesterday that the States will not try to control the pandemic, instead the administration will focus on vaccines and treatment.

According to the calculations of the country's chief infectious disease specialist, Anthony Fauci, the vaccine will not become available to the general public until next year.

• Illinois - 4 new cases of infection per day;
• Wisconsin - 3 new cases of infection per day;
• Tennessee - 2 new cases of infection per day;
• Indiana - 2 new cases of infection per day;
• Missouri - 1 new cases of infection per day.

• Texas - 920 cases of infection (first among states in terms of the number of infections in the United States), 454 people died;
• California - 911 cases of infection (the second highest number of cases among states in the United States), 823 people died;
• Florida - 782 cases of infection (third among states in the number of infected people in the United States), 013 people died;
• New York - 533 cases of infection (fourth among states in the number of infected people in the United States), 064 people died;
