The United States has published updated rules for entering the country: it will not be easy for Russians to get to America
The United States will require contact tracing and vaccination checks when restrictions on foreign travel to the country end on Nov. 8.
The administration of the 46th President of the United States Joe Biden will allow vaccinated visitors from overseas to enter the country from November 8.
On October 25, the White House said it would require airlines to verify Covid-19 vaccination documents for all air passengers traveling to the United States; and to collect their contact information and provide it to federal officials as part of the new rules, which will take effect on November 8.

Exceptions to visitor vaccination requirements include travelers under the age of 18 or those with medical reasons for not being vaccinated, according to senior Biden administration officials.
Foreign visitors between the ages of 2 and 17 must take a Covid test three days prior to departure if traveling with a fully vaccinated adult.
Other exceptions include those traveling on non-tourist visas from countries with low vaccine availability - 50 countries met these criteria. But these individuals who receive an exception due to low vaccine availability must provide a U.S. government-issued letter indicating the urgent need for travel.

Which countries are considered to be where there are few vaccines
The list of countries with low vaccine availability is published on the official CDC website... The United States added Armenia to it, it became the only post-Soviet country on this list. At the same time, Russia was not included there, although only the Sputnik V vaccine is widely available in this country, which the Americans do not recognize, and those vaccinated by it will not be allowed into the country. The rest of the vaccines in Russia are not easy to find.
“This is a big problem for Russian travelers and people from other countries who have received Sputnik V,” said Judith Twigg, a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Fully vaccinated people are officially considered to be those who have passed two weeks since their last dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine or a single dose of a vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson.
People vaccinated with the following vaccines will be able to enter the United States:
- Pfizer
- Modern
- Johnson & Johnson
- Astra Zeneca
- Sinopharm and Sinovac.
