Cafe Manager saidthat there was no discrimination, and the police simply violated the order of the queue, not standing in the line of orders, but immediately in the line of issue. He referred to the recording from a surveillance camera, but refused to provide it to reporters.

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio called the cashier's behavior "stupid" and "dishonest towards officers." And the head of the Association of Detectives, Michael Palladino, threatened to boycott the network Dunkin 'Donutsif the management company does not apologize to the entire NYPD.

3 August Representative Dunkin 'brands Michelle King issued a statement saying that the owner of the company is aware of the insult, and he intends to personally meet with one of the police officers in order to apologize "for any negative impression he received in his cafe."

Whether the worker who insulted the police will be punished is not specified in the application.
