LinkedIn co-founder willing to pay $ 5 million if Trump makes public his earnings
LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman said he would make a donation of $ 5 million to a veterans support fund if US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump makes public his income statements before the last round of election debates in mid-October.
Thus, Reid Hoffman also hopes to draw attention to the fundraising campaign for organizations that help veterans, writes SF Gate.
In particular, Hoffman supports the campaign, organized by Marine Corneta veteran Peter Kiernan, who also asks Trump to make public his earnings.
Hoffman has pledged to give $5 for every dollar of campaign donations, up to a maximum of $5 million if Trump makes his earnings public. In other words, if the campaign raises $200, Hoffman will donate $1 million. The proceeds from this campaign will be distributed among various charitable organizations that support veterans.
Unlike most presidential candidates, Donald Trump refused to show his tax return, citing a tax audit of his assets.
