Biden's dogs were returned to the White House and one of them bit the employee again
The US President's Sheepdog has bitten a White House employee again. This is the second such incident with a three-year-old dog Major, whom Joe Biden took from a shelter. According to the president, adaptation in the White House is not easy for the dog. Writes about it Air force.
Biden's dogs Major and Champ, both German Shepherds, recently returned from the president's family home in Delaware. They were sent there to rest and train after the Major bit an intelligence officer.
This time, Major bit a US National Park Service gardener who worked on the White House's South Lawn.
According to First Lady Jill Biden, before the victim returned to work, he was examined by a paramedic just in case.
“Major is still adapting to his environment. He grabbed someone with his teeth while walking,” a spokesman for the first lady said.
The Biden have two German Shepherds, a 13-year-old Champ and a younger Major, whom the couple took from a shelter in Delaware in 2018 when he was just under a year old.
Major became the first such foster child in the White House. Biden himself called him a good-natured dog.

Dog acclimatization
But in early March, they decided to temporarily return the dogs to the Biden family home in Delaware after the Major bit a security officer working in the White House.
An anonymous White House source then told CNN that the dog's aggressive behavior preceded the incident: it jumped, barked and lunged at office staff.
President Biden said on ABC's "Good Morning America" that Major is still acclimatizing to the new people around him.
“You turn the corner and there are two more people you don’t know at all, and they’re moving. Then he moves to protect. 85% of the people in the White House love him. He just licks them and wags his tail. But... I realize that some people, for obvious reasons, are afraid of dogs in principle,” the president said.
In February, speaking on a television show, the first lady told host Kelly Clarkson that she was trying to help the dogs adapt.
“They now have to ride the elevator, they’re not used to it. They go out for a walk on the South Lawn, where many people look at them. This is what I’ve been running around with lately - so that everyone can calmly get used to their new life,” said Jill Biden.
