1. Maids in hotels

Etiquette specialists also recommend tipping to other hotel employees:

If they provided you services not all season, but one time, then the tips are at your discretion. They are still worth giving a small bonus if they are confronted with something unusual, which caused them to go beyond the limits of their regular duties.

4. Carriers

5. Swimming instructors

This may sound unexpected, but swimming instructors should also tip if their lessons are not a free service that comes as a bonus to a package of lessons at the gym, etc.

This also applies to instructors working at special swimming, surfing or diving classes. Experts on etiquette advise giving them $ 20-25 on top of the cost of one class or 15-20% of the entire course bill.
