Weather forecasters promise abnormally cold August in the USA
Weather forecasters predict a cold August over most of the US east coast.
The first cases of air temperature below the average for this period were recorded on August 4 in Chicago and Green Bay, reports Daily Mail.
In these cities, the air temperature at night was set at 15 degrees Celsius.
In the next two weeks, similar weather is expected in most of the eastern regions of the United States; daytime temperatures during this period will reach 21-27 degrees.
July 6 morning record highs were seen in Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana.
7-9 August another cold front will bring thunderstorms and torrents to the central and eastern states of the United States.
In New York, the rains will begin on August 7, warning of possible flooding announced in the city.
On some days in August, temperatures will approach seasonal norms, but the general trend is that the first half of August, the 2017, will be colder than usual.
According to forecasts, this will continue until mid-August, after which warmer temperature indicators are expected compared with average.
