Sean Penn gave his Oscar to Zelensky as a symbol of faith in Ukraine's victory in the war

American actor and film director Sean Penn is visiting Ukraine for the third time during the full-scale war, this time he brought his Oscar statuette to Kyiv, which will remain in the country until victory, reports Ukrainian Truth.

“This time our meeting was special. Sean brought his Oscar statuette as a symbol of faith in the victory of our country. She will stay in Ukraine until the end of the war,” said Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The President presented Penn with the Order of Merit, III degree, and thanked him “for his sincere support and significant contribution to the popularization of Ukraine in the world.”
