Melania Trump site removed amid doubts about her education
The official website of Melania Trump - MelaniaTrump.com - has disappeared from the Internet amid questions regarding the education of the wife of the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party. Earlier, some American media questioned whether Donald Trump's wife had a higher education.
“The site in question was created in 2012 and has now been removed because it does not reflect my business and professional interests,” this is the explanation given on Melania Trump’s page on Twitter.
Users who type Melania Trump's website are automatically redirected to her husband's website, Trump.com—Trump's extensive biography on the site makes no mention of his wife.
However, the screenshots of the remote site that published the publication Huffington Post, show that Melania Trump graduated from the University of Slovenia with a degree in design and architecture, after which she focused on a modeling career.
At the same time, the site of the 2016 Republican Congress in the short biography of Melania Trump, which preceded her speech, also says that she graduated at home, after which she settled in New York in 1996.
However, in the recently published profile of Melania Trump in GQ magazine it was reported that she "moved to Milan after her first year of study, dropping out of university."
And in the new unauthorized biography of the former model is told that the facts about Melania Trump's education were fabricated to create a certain image for her.
“[Donald Trump and his advisers] were eager to show that the Slovenian model was not only beautiful, but also smart and educated,” the authors claim.
The presence of higher education in Melania Trump questioned after her speech at the congress in support of her husband, who turned out to be tracing paper Michelle Obama's 2008 performances of the year.
Despite Trump's wife’s initial allegations that she was the author of the speech, a member of Trump’s staff later issued a statement in which she claimed responsibility for the mistake.
Meredith melver reportedthat Melania Trump shared with her several motivational phrases that she liked in Obama's speech, but she did not recheck and rewrite selected quotes.
If 69-year-old Trump wins the US presidential election in November, 46-year-old Melania Trump will become the second foreign-born “first lady” in history, after the English-born Louise Adams, wife of the country’s sixth president, Quincy Adams.
