One of the world's largest asbestos producers, the Russian company Uralasbest OJSC began to produce products with the image on the packaging of US President Donald Trump.

Judging by the photos published by the company in Facebook, around the image of Trump is the inscription "Approved by Donald Trump, 45-th President of the United States."
Such a creative spread to the party of chrysotile. It is not known how many such packages were produced, and whether the company plans to continue to print Trump on its products.

The move took place after the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, said that his office would no longer deal with the negative effects potentially resulting from products containing asbestos.
“Donald Trump is on our side!” says a message on the Uralasbest Facebook page, adding that Trump called asbestos “100 percent safe after use.”
“We came up with an initiative to support our chrysotile industry in this way and remind them that our “mountain flax” is an important mineral for the whole world. The management approved it!” they said at the factory about how the idea came about.
Asbestos is classified by the US government as a “confirmed carcinogen” because of evidence that asbestos fibers can enter the lungs and cause mesothelioma. It can also cause lung, laryngeal and ovarian cancers.
The use of asbestos for plating and roofing is still permitted in the United States, but the Environmental Protection Agency announced in June that it would undertake new research on this product to determine its effect on the human body.
