Rating of the most reliable cars 2017 of the year

Lexus and Porsche are the car brands that have shown the highest level of reliability after 3 years of use. However, the models of these companies are also prone to breakdowns, especially with regard to malfunctions of technological innovations that are now actively used in the automotive industry.

This is the conclusion made by JD Power experts, who have published their annual research. 2017 US Vehicle Dependability Study.

On average, owners of 2014 models of the year have dealt with 156 problems on 100 vehicles over the past 12 months, and this is 4 points higher than in the 2016 year.

22% of these problems were related to electronics and digital technologies, mainly with the audio system, communication, infotainment systems and navigation. Last year, this figure was 20%.

Most of the problems were related to the fact that smartphones and other devices refused to connect to the car system via Bluetooth or had problems with voice recognition.

The lowest rate of breakdowns for the year - 110 per 100 cars - was shown by 3-year-old Lexus and Porsche, the highest - 298 breakdowns per 100 cars - was demonstrated by Fiat.

Hyundai has become a brand that has improved more than the rest for 12, the number of breakdowns on 100 of its cars has decreased by 25 units over the past 12 months and now amounts to 133.
