Distributed property and said that he had cancer: the organizer of the explosion in Nashville was identified

The man, who was identified as a suspect in the Christmas bombing in Nashville, reportedly got rid of his expensive possessions, including his home, and told people he was sick or retiring in the weeks leading up to the bombing. Writes about it Fox News.

Anthony Quinn Warner gave his ex-girlfriend a car and told her he was suffering from cancer. Shortly before Thanksgiving, he made changes to the documents for his house, although additional details were not included in the report.

An information technology consultant who visited those in his area in Antioch, Tennessee, told the client just three weeks before the blast that he was retiring.

Officers from the Nashville Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on the morning of December 25 and found Warner's van parked outside the AT&T building with a warning record that the bomb would go off in 15 minutes.

The sound then switched to a recording of Petula Clark's 1964 hit "Downtown". Shortly thereafter, the van exploded at about 6:30 am local time, just one block from the famous AT&T office tower.

The blast damaged dozens of buildings and injured three people, but only Warner was killed. The blast also continued to damage mobile and police communications and hospitals in several southern states while the company worked to re-establish communications.

On Sunday, December 27, officials said they believed Warner acted alone, but did not publicly state the reasons for the attack. Warner was not known to law enforcement before the explosion, authorities said.

Warner, whose public records show that he had experience with electronics and alarms, and also worked as a computer consultant for a realtor in Nashville, was considered a person with an interest in the bombing since at least Saturday, December 26, when federal and local investigators gathered at a house in the Nashville suburb associated with him.

Local residents noticed federal agents inspecting the property, house and backyard. A Google Maps image taken in May 2019 shows a touring car similar to the one that exploded, parked in the backyard, but was not on the property on Saturday, December 26.

Officials said their identification with Warner was based on several pieces of evidence, including DNA found at the scene of the explosion. Earlier, investigators found out that human remains were found nearby.

In addition, investigators from the Tennessee Highway Patrol recovered parts from the RV in the debris of the explosion and were able to link the vehicle identification number to a RV registered to Warner.
