On Friday, August 7, three US citizens were arrested in California, who allegedly smuggled 52 illegal immigrants across the border from Mexico. Writes about it Fox News.

The incident happened at about 05:00, when the operators of the remote video surveillance system noticed a suspicious truck and van.
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents stopped both vehicles as they drove east on Highway 98.
According to CBP, the driver of the truck, a 22-year-old U.S. citizen, admitted to carrying 37 people in the back - 36 Mexican adults and one Guatemalan.
“Officers searched the truck and found 37 people attempting to hide under a black tarp in the bed of the truck,” CBP said in a statement.

A second group of agents stopped the van and found two US citizens at the driver and passenger seats.
“Further inspection of the vehicle revealed 15 people in the back of the van,” CBP said. “Agents interviewed the passengers and determined that they were all adult Mexican citizens who were illegally present in the United States.”
In total, CBP agents arrested three US citizens and 52 illegal immigrants, including 35 men and 17 women between the ages of 18 and 52.
They are all being held in El Centro for further investigation. El Centro is the largest city in the Imperial Valley of Southern California.
