Putin considers the issue of simplified granting of Russian citizenship to all Ukrainians

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Kremlin is considering the possibility of granting Russian citizenship not only to residents of the self-proclaimed so-called Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), but also to all citizens of Ukraine.

According to him, this process will occur in a simplified manner, writes RBC.

“We generally think about giving our citizenship in a simplified way to the citizens of Ukraine,” Putin said, stressing that the decision on the simplified procedure for granting citizenship to residents of the so-called DNR and LC was not spontaneous and “was not taken from the outside”.
