Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he “had practically no personal relations” with US President Donald Trump, the heads of state met once, had a number of telephone conversations on issues of mutual interest.
He noted that Russian-American relations have become hostages of the domestic political situation in the United States. “I talked about this many times. Separate forces use Russian-American relations to solve American domestic political problems. But we are patiently waiting for this process to end in the internal political life of the United States, ”the Russian president added.
The first personal meeting of Putin and Trump Took place July 7 on the margins of the G20 Summit in Hamburg.
