Naturally, there are many conditions, but if you have a flexible schedule, you can see most of the country for a great price. Here's what to keep in mind:

• 1 ride is used every time you get on and off the train (or other scheduled Amtrak flights). That is, if your trip involves one transfer, you will use two segments of your pass.

• you must use the pass within 120 days from the date of purchase, that is, between now and mid-May. Once you start your first trip, your pass will expire after 30 days.
• obviously you will be traveling in economy class.
