'It's time to find out the truth': hackers hacked the website of Trump's campaign headquarters
The website of the election campaign of the incumbent US President Donald Trump was hacked. The headquarters assured that the hackers were unable to gain access to important data. The edition told in more detail "Voice of America".
On Tuesday, October 27, the presidential campaign site came under a clear short-term attack.
“Tonight, the content on the Trump campaign website has been changed and we are working with law enforcement to identify the source of the attack,” said Chief of Staff for Communications Tim Merto.
“Access to confidential data has not been obtained because such data is not actually stored on this site. The site has been restored, ”added Merto.
Screenshots taken before the site was restored show that the message was posted on it: "This site has been hijacked."

“This site has been taken over! The world has had enough of the fake news that President Trump is spreading, it’s time to let the world know the truth,” the hackers wrote on the main page.
The site resumed working 30 minutes after the hacker attack. For half an hour, a message was posted on the main page of the site that hackers had hacked into several devices, which gave them access to the "internal and secret conversations" of the president and his relatives, writes Hromadske.
The hackers accused Trump of misinformation, involvement in the origin of the coronavirus, cooperation with foreigners to manipulate the 2020 elections, because of which "Americans have no choice in the elections."
The hackers asked people to send cryptocurrency to one of two virtual addresses. One account was for those who wanted to make classified information public, the second was for those who wanted to keep everything secret. The attackers promised to compare the amounts and decide what to do next.
