Lost 45 years ago a wedding ring found in a car engine
The wedding ring that 45 lost years ago was discovered in a car engine. He was found by Will Fry of Dubuka, Iowa, when he was dismantling an old Oldsmobile 1972 car of the year of manufacture, bought for the use of spare parts. Reports about it Fox News.

Fry called the former owner of the 93-year-old Ray Shmukeker to ask if he had a diamond ring. He replied that it was, but he lost it at the end of 1973 or at the beginning of 1974.

“My wife was upset because I lost him, so she bought a new engagement ring with a few diamonds, exactly the same as I lost,” said Schmücker.
He bought Oldsmobile to take his wife Virginia for breast cancer treatment. Then all three of their children learned to drive a car, they used it for family vacations.
“There were a lot of good and bad memories associated with this machine,” said Schmuecker.

About 20 years ago, Oldsmobile broke down and has been standing idle since. Schmuecker was thinking of sending him to a landfill, but Fry offered to buy it in order to use the engine in another Oldsmobile 1968 of the year he was driving a drag racing.
Schmuecker’s daughter Ann Kabana was very pleased to know that their old car was useful to someone, but she did not expect such a happy turn of events.
Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, so she took the discovery of her father's engagement ring in a car engine as a very good sign.

The track, on which Fry rides, is not far from Schmuecker’s house, so he hopes to see his old motor in action soon.
