The Ukrainian Embassy in the USA will hold an off-site reception: what services are available and how to sign up

On April 18, 2021, employees of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States will provide outbound consular services to Ukrainian citizens in the city of Matthews, North Carolina. This is stated on official Facebook page Embassies.

Reception of citizens will take place from 9:00 am at the address: 1730 Matthews Township Pkwy Suite E, Matthews, NС 28105 (premises of the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union).

The list of consular services that can be provided during the service includes:

• submission of documents for registration of a biometric passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad;
• obtaining an already prepared biometric passport (in the case when the documents were submitted to the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States);
• temporary or permanent consular registration;
• execution of powers of attorney to represent interests or to perform other notarial actions on behalf of a person in Ukraine;
• execution of notarial statements (such as applications to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, statements of consent for the departure of minor children abroad, etc.);
• acceptance of documents for the registration of children born in the United States by citizens of Ukraine;
• acceptance of documents for registration for permanent residence abroad.

The list of documents required for the performance of the above consular actions, as well as the consular fee rates, can be found on the official web page of the Embassy of Ukraine in the section "Consular issues":

• passport actions;
• notarial acts;
• consular fees.

You can make an appointment by calling the Consular Section of the Embassy + 1 (202) 322-2616 (only on weekdays from 10:00 to 15:00). On the same phone you can get additional information on consular issues.

The Embassy noted that consular services will be carried out taking into account the requirements related to COVID-19.
