Details of the murder of a professor in Brooklyn: a neighbor has miraculously saved his wife and daughter

His wife and daughter from death saved the vigilance of a neighbor Dorin Giuliano, reports The New York Post.

Seeing a suspicious man near the house of neighbors, Giuliano immediately wrote a message to Professor Jennifer Hunter's wife.

“He looked left and right, left and right. And I watched him. Then he returned to the street, then went back to the door, and looked around again,” said Giuliano, who lives directly across the street from the house of the deceased professor.

At 17:41 p.m., Giuliano texted Hunter: “Hi, this is your neighbor Doreen. Is anyone working in your yard today? I was just being a nosy neighbor and noticed a man in your driveway near the trash cans,” the message said.

Hunter replied: “Thank you. Somebody was hanging around in the backyard. Have you seen this person? What did he look like? ”

A few minutes later, Giuliano sent another message: “Jen! He entered the side door. He entered your house. He is still in your house. Maybe you need to call me ... If you have no one at home now, then you have a robber. Should I call 911?

It was then that Hunter and the 18-year-old daughter of the deceased professor took to the streets and met with Giuliano in front of their house, while Professor Safran himself was still in the house at that moment.

“I shouted:“ There is a man in your house! There is a man in your house! ”And then Hunter said that in her basement a few minutes before that, for some reason, the lights went out.

But the professor's wife was confused and kept repeating that her husband was in the house, as if this could ensure their safety. Neighbor had to shout at her to bring to life. After that, Hunter called the police, who very quickly arrived at the crime scene.

A few minutes after the police entered the house, the women heard the noise of a fight and realized that the officers had discovered the criminal.

Professor Safran was beaten to death by a robber in the basement of the house. Police found Jeremy Safran on the floor. Next to his body lay a hammer, and the attacker, meanwhile, was hiding in a closet.

The name of the suspect was not disclosed.

“When they brought him out, he had blood on his hands,” Giuliano said of the suspect.

The woman believes that she saved the neighbors, because it is unclear what the attacker could do with them if they had stayed in the house.

When it was all over, Juliano asked Hunter if everything was all right, and she thanked her neighbor for her salvation.
