The plane of the airline EasyJet, which was supposed to fly from Manchester (Britain) to Alicante (Spain), was delayed due to the fact that the pilot of the airliner did not come to work. Tourists who have already managed to go through an airport check-in have been informed that the flight is delayed indefinitely.

Passenger Michael Bradley, who went on vacation with his wife and small child, did not want to wait for a reserve flight for several hours and offered the airline his services.

He called the company and said that he was ready to sit at the helm, and also said that he had with him a pilot’s license. In less than a minute, he was called back and invited to take the place of ship commander.

The airline thanked Bradley for helping passengers get to Alicante on time. Also, EasyJet noted that they allowed the man to fly the plane only after a thorough check.

“This is fully consistent with the rules, because the passenger had with him a license and an identity card. Safety is always our highest priority, ”EasyJet said.
