'They'll get lazy and stop working': man didn't tell family he won $30 million in lottery
A man in southern China keeps a secret $29,9 million lottery win from his wife and child. He thinks winning can make them lazy, reports MC.Today.
A man who identified himself as Mr. Li went to a lottery office in Nanning, southern Guangxi, to collect the prize. In the photo where he is formally handed the check, Lee was wearing a yellow suit that made him unrecognisable. He told why he did it.
“I didn’t tell my wife and child for fear that they would be too lazy and stop working or working hard in the future,” the man said in an interview.

After winning, Lee donated $680 to charity, adding that he had not yet decided what to do with the rest. In total, the man received about $000 million after taxes.
According to the newspaper, the lucky winner bought the winning ticket in a shop in the small town of Litang, east of the regional capital of Nanning. The day after he realized he had won, the man left for the big city to show his ticket at the lottery headquarters.
“I only slept in the hotel because I was afraid of going out and losing my lottery ticket,” Lee said.
He also told his secret: for many years he used the same numbers - 2, 15, 19, 26, 27 and 29. The additional number is 2.
