November discounts: 8 items worth buying this month
November deals are likely to bring to mind Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, these aren't the only days to shop - there are amazing discounts available at various stores throughout November. Edition Money Talks News I’ve put together a list of 8 things that you can buy at a profit in November and 4 more that you’d better wait to buy.
1. Halloween candy
Any decor on the theme of the holiday and sweets go on sale immediately after the holiday, and Halloween is no exception.
As Halloween approaches, we look forward to modest discounts, but as soon as the holiday is over, you can see giant candy packages with a discount of up to 50%.
Over time, discounts will become even greater. But, the longer you wait, the more likely it is that the product will end.
2. Halloween Costumes
Similar stores will offer up to 30% discount on Halloween costumes, but if you refrain from buying, you can collect the entire Halloween outfit for 2020 for a small fraction of the cost that was before the holiday.
Once again, it is important to note that over time, choices will decrease rapidly.
3. Halloween decor
If you're hoping to stock up on Halloween decorations next year, be aware that stores can offer at least 50% discount on the rest of their merchandise in November.
It happens that shops offer higher discounts, but by this time there remains a small selection of goods.

4. Cheap New Year flights
Holidays have not come yet, but now is the time to look for tickets for the New Year.
The Hopper app recommends booking your flight no later than November 5.
5. School supplies
Today, most schools have begun their first semester, so it may not even occur to you to look for school supplies. But if you refrain from shopping in August, when prices rise sharply, then you can buy these items now at a fairly low price.
On holidays, you can even give your child a new backpack.
6. Veterans Day Sale
Veterans Day is probably the last chance to really go on sale before Black Friday picks up speed. Discounts will be slightly less than on Black Friday, but the choice is larger and the queue is less.
Department stores are great places to look for Veterans Day deals.
7. Buying everything you need for baking
If on holidays you like to enjoy baking, in early November it's time to start closely monitoring the advertising of local products.
You may be lucky enough to find baking dishes on sale, but even if you don’t, the stores will start discounting on goods for upcoming holiday dinners.
Look for flour, sugar, chocolate chips, canned pumpkin and cranberry sauce in the store.

8. Seasonal fruits and vegetables
In the cold months, you may not think of such products as a good purchase, but there is something to take advantage of.
Top deals include winter vegetables - beets, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, leeks, mushrooms, parsnips, pumpkin, rutabaga, spinach, sweet potatoes, turnips and winter squash.
And if you are looking for the freshest fruits, look for cranberries, oranges, pears, persimmons, pomegranates and tangerines, they usually have very good discounts.
