All police officers involved in the death of George Floyd were arrested: they face up to 40 years in prison
Three former Minneapolis police officers recognized on Wednesday June 4 as accomplices in the murder of George Floyd during his arrest were detained. Writes about it New York Times.
Minnesota officials posted photos showing Tou Tao, Thomas Lane, and Alexander Quang wearing orange prison clothes with a v-neck over black t-shirts.
Earlier in the day, former police officers were charged with complicity in a second-degree murder and facilitating second-degree manslaughter. George Floyd died during his arrest on May 25 because he allegedly provided fake $ 20 at the store.
Prosecutors also changed the charge against ex-policeman Derek Chauvin to second-degree murder.

Since his arrest, Chauvin has been held in custody with a bail of $ 500 on charges of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
A terrifying video of the incident, shot on a mobile phone, shows that Chauvin pressed his knee to Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes, despite desperate requests from witnesses to stop.
Floyd also repeatedly said, “I can't breathe,” before he passed out.
All four accused face up to 40 years in prison.
