Several UFOs chased US warships off the coast of California

Mysterious flying objects repeatedly stalked three U.S. warships off the California coast in 2019, according to newly released ship logs. At one point, they matched the speed and bearing of one of the destroyers for 90 minutes. Writes about this New York Post.

According to records obtained by the news site The Drive through the US Freedom of Information Act, unidentified aircraft, described as "unmanned aerial vehicles" (UAVs), chased three destroyers for several days.

The report says that for several days in a row in July 2019, six drones surrounded the US warships Kidd, Raphael Peralta and John Finn, sometimes performing maneuvers.

“Kidd reported a UAV,” according to one entry in the ship’s log dated July 14, 2019.

“White light identified above the flight deck of the ship,” another recording recorded.

“Two UAVs spotted on the starboard wing,” read Rafael Peralta’s log, followed six minutes later by another entry: “Four UAVs spotted on the starboard wing.”

Navy ships equipped with sensors, radar, thermal imaging and electro-optical systems, however, were unable to track the disappeared drones.

On July 15, 2019, the ships contacted the cruise ship Carnival Imagination, which was sailing nearby, to determine if they were their drones.

The cruise ship's crew said they did not own the drones and saw five or six objects flying around the Navy destroyers.

The sightings took place when warships were participating in military exercises about 100 miles (160 km) off the coast of Los Angeles, far beyond the reach of commercial drones.

The incident has prompted an investigation by the Navy, Coast Guard, FBI and other agencies, but no results have been found so far.

This is just the latest report on unexplained ships in the sky.

A former national intelligence official said an upcoming government report would reveal "hard-to-explain" evidence of UFO sightings, including that they were known to break the sound barrier without a sonic boom.

The FBI confirmed last month that it received a report from an American Airlines pilot who reported a "long cylindrical object" over New Mexico at 37 feet (000 km).

In November 2019, there were reports of a similar 2004 incident involving the USS Princeton off the coast of California.
