NASA showed orbital images and video of the “Millennium Hurricane,” the most powerful hurricane on record that raged in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the coast of Mexico.

Images of the most powerful hurricane in the Western Hemisphere were obtained using the American Aqua satellite and the Japanese GPM apparatus, and the video was filmed from the International Space Station.
